I started training with Roc the end of January 2009. I gained a lot of weight and was at my heaviest. I couldn’t fit into any of my clothes and was very unhappy with my size. I was always doing for others but was putting myself last and it showed. I tried several diets before coming to Roc I tried the South Beach Diet, the Atkins Diet and Master Cleanse. I lost weight on all diets, but it always came back. So I wanted to do something that would be more of a lifestyle change that focused on eating and working out. In my initial consultation with Roc, he sensed instantly what was hindering me from reaching my goals. He talked to me about the importance of planning and making my needs a priority. Well after 3 months of training with Roc, I reached and exceeded my goals. I wanted to get back to my college weight but I actually got below my college weight and I looked better because my body was more toned. In November 2012, I decide to take it a step further and committed to doing a competition, which has totally changed my life. Through this experience I learned a lot about myself and I know I can do anything I put my mind to.
